Dr. Pradip Kamat is a distinguished Professor of Pediatrics & Pediatric Critical Care at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. He currently serves as the President-Elect of The Society for Pediatric Sedation (SPS) and chairs the Membership Committee. Dr. Kamat has been an active member of the SPS since 2008, contributing significantly to the field of pediatric sedation.

From 2013 to 2021, Dr. Kamat led the Pediatric Sedation program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta @Egleston, where he made notable advancements in outpatient pediatric sedation, a field in which he is deeply passionate. His dedication is reflected in his extensive publication record, with numerous peer-reviewed articles on various topics in pediatric sedation.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kamat enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga and meditation, and exploring new places through travel.
